Sonic the Hedgehog’s box office might have breezed by “Detective Pikachu” and the disappointing “Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn,” (which still isn’t as long a movie title as “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice the Hood”), but someone in China must have missed the memo that they decided to make him look like Sonic the Hedgehog and not a weird blue homunculus as a toy featuring the original Sonic design for the film just hit U.S. shelves.
