Paul Casey has announced he is joining LIV Golf series and will play the next event at Bedminster, New Jersey at the end of July.

Casey, who is the world No 26, has become the latest player to confirm his arrival in the breakaway tour, which held its maiden event at the Centurion Club last month.

A back injury had forced Casey out of the Masters, the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open, but he is expected to return for LIV Golf’s third event.

The 15-time DP World Tour winner will be part of team Crushers GC, which is captained by Bryson DeChambeau.
