Ok guys so this is pretty much breaking news but on the official studio ghibli twitter, yes I check it wasn’t a twitter blue account, has posted a teaser hinting at a collaboration with lucasfilm. We weren’t really sure if this was gonna be for star wars or indiana jones or even willow, but the official star wars twitter account has just retweeted it so now its fully confirmed. This will be a for a huge star wars anime production…

The real question now is, what will it be. Will it be an original movie like they’re known for with previous works like princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and many more, will it be just another visions episode for season 2, or a something else…
The one thing that points towards it being something else, like a small short on Disney+ is that we just had a leak coming from disney+ italy, showing that there will be a unannounced Grogu short dropping on November 12. The name is Star Wars Zen: Grogu and Dust bunnies which is weird, but this could be what Ghibli are working on. That will be released in just a few days if this is it…
If its an episode of visions, that will be extremely hype, but it won’t come out for quite a while and maybe not even this year…
If it’s something like an original movie, well I can tell you right now I’d go out to the threatres to watch that and especially if its a fully canon original story.
