Amy Slaton Halterman of 1000-lb Sisters is sharing with followers why she is finding it so hard to raise two sons in today’s modern world.

Now that she is a mother of two, Amy Slaton Halterman from 1000-lb Sisters is realizing how hard it is to parent two little boys. The TLC star shot to fame with her sister, Tammy Slaton, after both shared they wanted to undergo gastric bypass surgery. Amy had always wanted to be a mother, but her out-of-control weight was standing in her way.

While speaking with E!, 1000-lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton shared just how hard it had been to raise two children after welcoming her second son, Glenn Allen, in July. As most mothers know, having two children under the age of two is quite the challenge, and it has been no different for Amy, who revealed the “worst part” is being “home alone” with her sons. Amy shared it has been hard to deal with both her children when they cry simultaneously or want attention from her. For the 1000-lb Sisters star, it feels like she is being pulled in all directions.

However, there are some good parts about being a mother of two boys. New mom Amy shared that she has really enjoyed watching Glenn and Gage Deon “interact with each other.” Amy shared with the outlet that Gage is taking his role as big brother very seriously, while Glenn is learning to “army crawl.” According to Amy, Gage is enjoying teaching his little brother how to do things like to laugh or smile.

Amy was the first to qualify for her weight loss surgery during 1000-lb Sisters season 1. Viewers watched as both sisters tried to give up their unhealthy habits, which included eating out and devouring cheese from a can. Amy had the end goal of becoming a mother to keep her motivated, while Tammy often fell short. After going under the knife, Amy’s doctors warned her not to get pregnant immediately. Still, she and her husband, Michael Halterman, ignored the medical staff’s advice and found out they were about to welcome their first child.

As 1000-lb Sisters viewers are watching on the newest season, Amy’s second pregnancy was not the easiest. She was already caught caving into her absurd cravings and shared that doctors needed to keep a close eye on her because she was a high-risk pregnancy. 1000-lb Sisters season 4 seems to be about growth as fans will see Amy embrace motherhood and Tammy finally qualifies for her gastric bypass surgery after years of self-sabotage. Amy is now done having children, as she has revealed in a post that she has gotten her tubes tied, meaning the 1000-lb Sisters star needs to embrace the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to having two sons.
