Although the dates of these events may change year over year, Ulta typically throws its famous sales roughly during the same week, year over year. Missed a sale? When Is the Next Ulta Sale?
Ulta has launched its Early Black Friday Sale! This sale runs until Nov. 23 and features a new selection of deals every week. This week, you can save big on everything from lip products and nail polish to makeup organizers and NYX makeup.

Here’s the 2024 sale schedule Ulta tends to follow every year:
January
There’s plenty to love about the new year because it kicks off with an Ulta savings event. But even as the month wraps up, other opportunities for saving are always popping up.
Love Your Skin Event
Ulta’s Love Your Skin Event blazes in to rescue your skin for three weeks at the very beginning of January, offering much-needed TLC to help protect skin against the wind and dry temperatures with 50% off your fave skin care products for three weeks.
Ulta Jumbo Love Sale
Carrying over from the previous year, the semiannual Jumbo Love Event makes its way into the new year and holds discounts on shampoo and conditioners and lots more, overlapping with the first big event of the year — Ulta’s annual Love Your Skin Event.
February
The month of February is somewhat of a lull at Ulta since there are no major sales events happening. But that doesn’t mean you still won’t have plenty of opportunities to save. Shop the Special Offers section, including Buy More Save More (BOGO), Gift With Purchase and Sale merchandise. Plus, look for a current Ulta coupon every time you shop.
National Lash Day
National Lash Day is Feb. 19. Expect savings (most likely the whole week) at Ulta on the essentials that make your lashes pop and your eyes sparkle. This year, Ulta threw out 30% off savings on mascaras, lash primers and fake lashes.
March
Beauty Event (aka, 21 Days of Beauty)
The shining star of Ulta sales, the semiannual 21 Days of Beauty Sale happens twice a year. It’s a sale that overflows with cosmetics, skin and hair care products to keep you smiling until the next one rolls around again in the fall. Although the date changes every year, you can set your clock to the approximate time, give or take a day or two. Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty 2024 spring edition started on March 8 and lasted until March 29.
Ulta loves its customers so much that it doesn’t make us wait until the day to get a preview of the merch. Ulta lets us see the following week’s products that’ll be on sale (usually the Wednesday before) so we can make sure we’re properly prepared for the spending, spending, and, yep — more spending. April
Spring Haul Event
Ulta’s Spring Haul Event in April comes on the heels of Ulta’s Beauty Event (formerly 21 Days of Beauty). It offers customers major discounts and a plethora of daily deals to boot on prestige cosmetics, which, as you know, only happens a few times a year. It’s an excellent way to get all the necessities (and some not-so-much necessities) between Ulta’s “Haul Events.” This year, it started on April 9 and ran through to April 20 with up to 50% off the biggest brands in hair care, skincare, body care and makeup.

Ulta Member Love Event
We saw this event first pop up in May 2024. Instead of a sale open to all, Member Love is for Ulta Beauty Rewards members only. Members get up to 10X points when they shop certain types of products.
Gorgeous Hair Event
The Gorgeous Hair Event comes around twice a year, with the first usually kicking off in May (the second in October). Ulta spaced these semiannual events perfectly to let you stock up on your last beauty haul. During the event, you’ll save 50% on all your hair gear so your locks look the healthiest for the rest of the spring season and into the long summer months. In 2024, we didn’t see the spring edition of the Gorgeous Hair Event pop up when it usually does. Instead, Ulta through a month-long Member Love event in May that offers extra rewards points to rewards members who make specific purchases.
When is the Next Ulta Gorgeous Hair Event?
If Ulta had stuck to its usual timing, we’d have seen this event pop up in mid-May in 2024. Since it’s such a major event that Ulta advertises as a twice-annual sale, we hope Ulta hasn’t abandoned this sale and that it could still happen. It also pops up in the fall, usually in October.
June
Ulta Jumbo Love Event
Back for 2024, the summer Jumbo Love Sale (called the Big Summer Sale this year) ran from June 23 to July 15. The Jumbo Love Sale happens two times per year, in summer and near the end of the year. This semiannual sale features savings of up to 40% off the top hair care brands, including Biolage, Joico and Redken, to name a few. You might also hear it called the “Ulta Liter Sale” because of the oodles of savings on liter bottles of shampoo, conditioner and other products that show your hair the most “jumbo” love ever.
Big Summer Beauty Sale
The Summer Sale is Ulta’s way of getting you over the midsummer hump. It usually happens toward the end of June every year with savings of up to 50% on summer skin care, BOGO makeup, up to 40% off jumbo hair care, including drugstore brands and prestige products, and daily deals. This sale ran from June 23 to July 13.
July
Glow Up Savings Event
During what is often referred to as Black Friday in July – when many major retailers host their biggest sales of the summer – Ulta held a sale for rewards members. The Ulta Glow Up Savings Event ran from July 16 to July 21. During this time Ulta’s Diamond members could save 20% on a qualifying purchase, Platinum members could save 15% and Basic-level members could save 10%.
National Lipstick Day Sale
As noted above, National Lipstick Day is celebrated annually on July 29. Ulta celebrates the occasion with savings on lipstick, lipgloss and more from beloved brands like Fenty Beauty, Too Faced and Bobbi Brown.
August
72-Hour Beauty Sale
Like February, August is another hiatus from Ulta’s major sales events. However, Ulta runs smaller promos throughout this month that are equally thrilling. For example, the Forever Fabulous Sale (aka the 72-Hour Beauty Sale) marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall beauty.
Diamond and Platinum Member Appreciation Days
Member Appreciation Days are fun surprises from Ulta for Diamond or Platinum Beauty Rewards members. It’s when you’ll earn 10x points on literally thousands of products and 5x points on everything else. Just sign into your account to activate. The offer is available through the mobile app and at Ulta.com only.
Ulta 21 Days of Beauty
The second and final 21 Days of Beauty Sale for the year wrapped up in mid September. Each day of the event, which ran from Aug. 30 to Sept. 19, a new selection of deals was released. During this sale you could save up to 50% off on best-selling brands every day!

Fall Haul Event
Ulta’s Fall Haul Sale ran through to Oct. 5. This sale presented the perfect opportunity to stock up on the skincare, makeup and haircare products you need for the autumn season. You could find savings of up to 40% on everything from hairstyling tools, face masks, facial cleansers, eye shadows and everything in between.

Gorgeous Hair Event 2024
This year, Ulta’s hair sale allows shoppers to buy one hair care or hair styling product and get the second for 50% off. Brands in the mix included Matrix, Biolage, Wella and Joico. The sale ran until Oct. 26.
November
Ulta Early Black Friday Sale 2024
Similar to Ulta’s semi-annual saving events, Ulta’s Early Black Friday Sale features new deals every week. From now until Nov. 23, you can find new deals on hair, skin and beauty products from beloved brands. This is a great time to shop for items that you think might sell out during Black Friday, or that you need earlier for Thanksgiving plans!

Ulta’s Black Friday sale might start online (on Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. CT), but you can shop deals in-store too from Nov. 24 to Nov. 30. Just remember, Ulta stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so you can browse from home, while enjoying your turkey and pumpkin pie on Nov. 28. Expect to find major savings on best-selling beauty and makeup products at Ulta during Black Friday.

Ulta: Cyber Monday Sale 2024
Cyber Monday has been quite the conundrum lately because most Black Friday sales have been online anyway over the past few years. Ulta attempts to differentiate Cyber Monday from Black Friday by offering shoppers a whole new slew of deals! This online-only sale runs from Dec. 1 at 12 p.m. CT to Dec. 3 at 2 a.m. CT.
Ulta: Big Holiday Beauty Sale 2024
After the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are in the history books, the countdown to Christmas arrives in December! This annual Ulta sale has been called Holiday Beauty Blitz in the past, but this year it is named: Big Holiday Beauty Sale. We suggest using this sale as your chance to shop for any gifts remaining on your list!
Jumbo Love Event
As the last major sale of the year, the semiannual Jumbo Love (Liter) event starts in December and again features up to 40% off the top hair care brands to help your hair make it through the heat and rays of summer.
