Fans have been looking forward to Celebrity Big Brother 4 ever since the third installment of the celebrity version of the reality competition series ended in 2022, and there’s finally some new information about the show. Celebrity Big Brother premiered in 2018, with a shortened version of the classic Big Brother game featuring celebrities, which only lasted about a month. Another major change from the original game was the lack of a jury house, which meant that the evicted houseguests could watch all of the action from home.

The more outrageous the celebrities are the better, so fans can expect some controversial characters to be cast, along with beloved stars.

The Show Could Premiere In 2026
No official premiere date has been announced for Celebrity Big Brother. The show’s producers hope to bring it back, but it probably won’t happen in 2025. When the series premiered in 2018, it aired against the Winter Olympics. It then returned the following year, but wasn’t seen again until 2022, when it once again went up against the Winter Olympics. Executive producer Allison Grodner stated that Celebrity Big Brother is most often offered as an alternative to the Winter Olympics, so that could be how CBS utilizes it in the future. This would mean that season 4 won’t premiere until 2026.
However, Allison and her fellow executive producer Rich Meehan would like to see Celebrity Big Brother return even sooner. She said that they can’t speak for CBS, but they agree that the series is worthy of being on TV every other year or even annually. However, Rich pointed out that the network’s schedule could make that impossible in the near future. Fans will most likely have to wait until at least 2026 for Celebrity Big Brother to return.
