McCordsville Indiana… Indianapolis or Fishers Suburb? Or, a suburb of Lawrence? McCordsville Indiana is a small town just to the south of Fishers, Indiana and just east of Indianapolis Indiana and Lawrence Indiana. McCordsville is certainly small but given that it only had 1000 people in 2000 and now has roughly 8000 means that it is growing. Why? Many of the surrounding areas like Fishers Indiana, Lawrence, and Indianapolis have become dense. McCordsville has become a reprieve.
