Although the stock (ticker: TSLA) traded higher at points early in the day, the gains didn’t hold. Shares closed down down—again—at $177.59 for a loss of 7.3%. The
S&P 500
and
Dow Jones Industrial Average
dropped 2.1% and 2%, respectively.
