Life in Princeton Indiana – Gibson County, filmed in Technicolor. In 1939, the same year Hollywood shocked the world with it’s Technicolor film, ‘Wizard of Oz’, Life in Motion Pictures came to Princeton, Indiana and filmed the people and places around Princeton and Gibson County, Indiana.

Promoted as “See 7000 Local People in the Moving Picture”, it was originally screened at the Princeton Theater Wednesday & Thursday, August 23-24, 1939.

You will have fun trying to identify the scores of faces throughout this film.
