Love Is Blind season 1 featured Diamond Jack and Carlton Morton, a couple who brought drama and controversy, and it’s time to talk about what they’re up to today. In February 2020, LIB premiered, spotlighting the unconventional love stories of couples who fell in love and got engaged before meeting each other. Diamond and Carlton fell in love behind a wall, but their spark faded after they spent time together. Ultimately, they decided to part ways in Mexico, before following through with their marriage. Diamond and Carlton have reunited in the past, which has raised questions about their current relationship status.
On the reunion episode of Love Is Blind season 1, Carlton and Diamond saw each other for the first time since their argument (and split) in Mexico. The couple ended up parting ways following an explosive argument, after Carlton opened up to Diamond about his sexuality. Carlton told his potential future wife that he was bisexual, which frustrated Diamond, as she felt that her husband-to-be was hiding something from her. At the reunion special, Carlton made an effort to reconnect, by working towards a friendship with Diamond. Shortly after, however, Diamond blocked her ex-fiance on social media.
Diamond Has Been Busy Since Love Is Blind Season 1
Diamond made it clear where she stood with Carlton, who remains her ex. Love is Blind cast member Diamond has since accused Carlton of doing the show (and proposing to her) for fame. Meanwhile, she decided to continue her Netflix reality TV career by appearing on the dating show, Perfect Match. It aired in February 2023, after being filmed the year before. Diamond matched briefly with The Mole star Will Richardson before sending herself home, after she admitted that she didn’t have any matches in the house. Diamond has yet to reveal if she is dating anyone new, and she appears to be happily single online.
The former NBA dancer Diamond seems to be focusing on herself, and not on romance. She took a step back from social media after the premiere of Love is Blind, but has been posting more since the drama died down. The former reality star is typically seen showing off her latest outfit or flawless makeup looks. Since filming the show, Diamond has devoted herself to working on her Ph.D. in optometry, and pursuing her acting career. While she is keeping her life relatively private, it seems like she’s doing well, and feeling happy. Carlton is no longer a factor in Diamond’s life, as she appears to have moved on.
Carlton Wants Love Again After Love Is Blind Season 1
As opposed to his more reserved ex-fiancee, Carlton has shared a lot about his life within the last few years. While he was happy, in love, and confident in a new relationship for some time, he appears to be single now, according to his Instagram. Carlton, whom Diamond says is fake, continually references his time on Love is Blind. “Never Forget,” Carlton captioned one pinned throwback photo of his time on the show. He claims that his Instagram was hacked when he had over 110K followers. Now, he has only about 10K followers at that account. Carlton appears eager to find “the one” after his split from Diamond.
Diamond and Carlton no longer interact with each other, which seems to be the best thing for both of them. Although they have gone their separate ways, things appear to be going well for both Love is Blind season 1 stars. After experiencing heartbreak in Mexico, Carlton and Diamond have moved on, and healed from their messy split. They are both focusing on themselves, and doing what makes them happy. The Love Is Blind social experiment may not have worked for this duo in the end, but they are both thriving since the show. Meanwhile, there are currently four couples from the series who are still together.
